Lusine, Philip Sherburne in Chicago tonight

As the title would suggest, Chicago’s Sonotheque will play host to Seattle’s Lusine and Barcelona/Portland’s (and my favorite electronic music critic) Philip Sherburne tonight. It should be a lot of fun; I’ve heard a lot of good things about performances from both these gentlemen. Warm-up gals Kate Simko and Sassmouth are also great talents, so make sure to get there on time — 9 p.m.

And just for kicks, here’s a taste of Lusine’s production/remix skills to stir you from your homes and into Chicago’s streets.

Lusine Icl, “Shoot the Moon” [Hymen Records, Mad Monkey Records]

Alex Smoke, “Make My Day” (Lusine remix) [Soma Quality Recordings]
