01. Âme, “Enoi” [Innervisions]
Yet another stunning single from the “Do No Wrong Cru,” I especially like that it’s not quite as high-minded as “Fiori” and that it’s definitely geared for the dancefloor.
02. Ink & Needle, “Tattoo Seven” [Tattoorec.com]
From the trundling little progression to the gigantic and somewhat frequent rave ups (and subsequent cosmic sighs), this ought to bring attention to a well-deserving Rune Reilly Kolsch.
03. Simon Baker, “Plastik” [Playhouse]
Another rising star who is bound to have a big 2007, “Plastik” got rinsed a few times at DEMF and had spectacular affect on the crowds. Deceptively clever programming. This is going to fight it out with Baker’s other tunes for year end spots.
04. Audion, “Noiser” [Spectral Sound]
It took me a while to appreciate this, but hearing it live displayed just how much damage it could do. In a good way.
05. Solomun & Stimming, “Feuervogel” [Diynamic Music]
Not much left to say about this, except that it’s a mini “Rej” which might never receive the anthem status it deserves. Gets played often in the LWE compound.
